With Every Breath By Elizabeth Camden

"You only love when its easy"

In the shadow of the nation's capital, Kate Livingston's respectable life as a government worker is disrupted by an encounter with the insufferable Trevor McDonough, the one man she'd hoped never to see again. A Harvard-trained physician, Trevor never showed the tiniest flicker of interest in Kate, and business is the only reason he has sought her out now.

Despite her misgivings, Kate agrees to Trevor's risky proposal to join him in his work to find a cure for tuberculosis. As Kate begins to unlock the mysteries of Trevor's past, his hidden depths fascinate her. However, a shadowy enemy lies in wait and Trevor's closely guarded secrets are darker than she ever suspected.

As revelations from the past threaten to destroy their careers, their dreams, and even their lives, Trevor and Kate find themselves in a painfully impossible situation. With everything to lose, they must find the strength to trust that hope and love can prevail over all.

My Take:
Elizabeth Camden and has a way of making you feel as if you traveled back in time and are right there with the characters. Laughing with them, crying with them Etc. The way she writes the characters relationships is so entertaining especially the banter between Kate and Trevor. This is the second of Elizabeth Camdens books that I have read and I can't wait to read more. If you are looking for a great historical fiction book look no farther than Elizabeth Camdens With Every Breath. The plot will definitely grab your interest. Elizabeth Camden once again makes her female character a strong, smart woman. The element of faith shines in this book, and Camden reaches out with the message that "Your life is going to unfold exactly as God intends".

Favorite Quotes:

"God never asked her to understand Him. He asked her to Trust Him."

"Tomorrow might be riddled with fear and heartache, but right now in this perfect, God-given moment, he knew joy and was grateful for it."

NOWHERE TO TURN By Lynette Eason

SHE THOUGHT HER DAYS OF RUNNING WERE OVER...   BUT THE DANGER HAS JUST BEGUN

The day Danielle Harding takes her 11-year-old son, Simon, and flees from her abusive husband, is the same day Kurt Harding dies. A relieved Dani believes she and her son are finally safe--but in reality, the danger has just begun. When Kurt was alive, he took something important to a mysterious person. That person wants the item back and believes Dani now has it. As she and her son run for their lives, they have nowhere to turn, until she hires Adam Buchanan of Operation Refuge and goes into hiding. Unfortunately, she won't be able to hide for long . . .
From the first breathless scene, this tension-laced story will hold readers in its iron grip. Bestselling author Lynette Eason propels readers along at a breakneck pace in a race to discover the truth and a better future.

My Take
I have been wanting to read a book by Lynette Eason for a long time, so when I had the opportinuty to review one for Revell Reads i grabbed it. This book is ok, its the second in the Hidden Idenity series but that didnt make it confusing. It grabbed my attention from the first page and held it most of the way through the book, but towards the end I started thinking if they actually put more effort into the investigation side of things they might have saved theirselves some trouble, but then again I guess they were hired to protect not to investigate. So its not on my favorites list but it was a good book anyway. I look forward to reading more of Lynette Easons work in the future!
