Unspoken by Dee Henderson

                                                       UNSPOKEN

Bryce Bishop is a coin dealer, but he is bored out of his mind. or he was, until Charlotte Graham showed up. Charlotte Graham has coins to sell, A-lot-of-coins. Like vaults full of coins. Really old coins. She appears one night under mysterious circumstances and intrigues Bryce. She's offering him the opportunity to buy her collection of coins. If he says no, she's going to open up a coin store right next door and be his direct competition. As the mysterious circumstances past and present surrounding Charlotte begin to unravel, Bryce wants to help her with distributing her grandfathers estate. Bryce comes to realize that the estate is much more than he imagined. Charlotte has a disturbed past and hasn't said a word to anyone about the four years she spent kidnapped. Even though it has been 18 years, her past is still chasing her.
I have been a fan of Dee Henderson's writing ever since I read the O'Malley series. This certainly wasn't the best book she has ever written. I think their should have been more from charlottes point of view and a little less from Bryce's. I was kind of expecting Charlotte to get kidnapped again at the end of the book when they were trying to catch her previous kidnapper but it never happened. But I still thought it was a really good book. And I will recommend it to all my friends.

If you pay attention, You can uncover a secret weapon for success - and the keys to unlocking your full potential. Here Cindy gives you the tools for discovering and decoding these hidden messages, including:
* How to get the most out of your dreams
* Historical and present-day examples of life-changing dreams
* 3 steps to discover the geunine message from your dream, And more.
I chose this book to review because I thought it looked really interesting and beacuse I thought it might tell me what my dreams meant. It was really interesting, and I liked the historical storys such as dreams about the sinking of the Titanic and how the sewing machine was invented but it didn't really apply to the type of dreams I have. From what the author said about dreams, mine don't seem to be saying much! Anyway this book didn't tell me anything much about my dreams but that dosent mean it wouldn't for someone else.

DANGEROUS By Caleb Bislow

DANGEROUS: Engaging The People And Places No One Else Will

In 2005 Caleb Bislow decided safety was overrated. Realizing there is nowhere on earth beyond God's love, He became what might be called an ''extreme missionary,'' traveling to some of the world's most dangerous places. From red-light districts in Asia to Guatemalan prisons to warring tribal villages in Africa. Caleb Whitnessed God's light break thru the darkness again and again. In this book Caleb shares his stories. Some are funny, Some are scary, Some are horrifying, But all of them are inspiring. He challenges readers to listen for God's voice and be ready to follow where he leads us. Along with the stories, he coaches the reader by sharing how he makes decisions and a priority checklist. He also gives practical advice as to how to get involved with each of the people groups he shares about in case one of them touches your heart. He cautions that to be a missonary, you do need to have some more formal training. I thought his training program for Unusual Soldiers was very interesting. It demonstrated that even the shy and timid are candidates to travel into dark, dangerous places to minister to others. This book is a good challenge for any christian who needs to get out of their comfort zone. While the book's radical approach may not be necessarily for me (Unless God has other plans), Believers will be reminded that this world is temporary and heaven and hell are eternal realities.

The Miner's Lady by Tracie Peterson

The Miner's Lady is the third in the land of shining water series by Tracie Peterson. I didn't know this when I selected this book to review for Bethany House or I probably would have chosen a different book. (Because I don't normally start a series in the middle :) But im glad now I got this one because it was very interesting! I found out all the other books in this series are about different people so it wasn't confusing.
The Miner's Lady is set in Ely, a small mining town in Minnesota, the year of 1890. And is centered around two Itailan miner familys, the Calarco's and the Penetta's. Who have been sworn enemies for decades . When Isabella Penetta falls in love with Orlando Calarco. Isabella's only sister, Chantel, thinks there is no hope. But unable to resist Isabellas pleas. She agrees to help her spend time with Orlando. Only to have a run-in with Orlando's Older brother Dante. Will the family's be able to make peace, or will Chantel and Isabella's hope for love be buried amidst decades of misunderstanding?
I liked this book but some parts didn't seem to tie-in very well, Like Chantel and Isabella's brother Marco's story. At first it seemed like it could go somewhere but then it never developed. And it didn't seem to have anything to do with the rest of the plot. all in all though I think this book was worth reading it was more slow paced and relaxed than some books, which is nice for a change.

STRANDED By Dani Pettrey

                        STRANDED By DANI PETTREY

Stranded is the third in the Alaskan Courage series by Dani Pettrey. I reccomend reading the first two books submerged and shattered before reading stranded because then you get to know the characters, and their storys have greater meaning and more history. Also all the books in this series so far have been awesome! so it would totally be worth your time.
Darcy St James returns to Alaska after a very urgent call from an old friend Abbey Walsh, an undercover journalist on the trail of a big story. Only to find she has disappeared. The cruise ship manager claims she quit her job,but darcy feels something strange is going on so she uses her cover as a travel reporter to investigate further.
Gage McKenna is on the 'Bering' to lead adventure excursions for Last Frontier Adventures - The company which he co-owns. The last person he expects to see on a cruise ship is Darcy St James and as usual she's up to something. When he finds out she is undercover, all his anger towards her job comes roaring back. But when he finds out the enormity of her mission. He fears for her safety. As they head into the more remote regions of Alaska, They both frantically search for answers. But the more they search the more Gage fears they have only discovered the tip of the iceburg.
What I liked… I really like how the author set up Gage and Darcys story towards the end of her last book Shattered and how she has done that thru all the books in this series so far, including this one with kayden and jake. It gives the reader something to look forward to in the next book.
Also I really like that the author has a page on her website to get to know the characters, With pictures and a personal dossier. and she also has a pinterest board for every book, which shows the theme of the book and the characters styles. Its really cool!    http://www.danipettrey.com/fun/

Into The Whirlwind

Into The Whirlwind by Elizabeth Camden

It's October 1871 little does Mollie Knox know her life will never be the same again.
Mollie Knox is the owner/manager of the 57th Illinois Watch Company. When one of the best              lawyers in the city- Zack Kazmarek desires to meet with her to discuss a potential business venture she can't help but be scared stiff. What does he have to say? Have they done something wrong? This is the first of Elizabeth Camden's books I have read but it definitely won't be the last! I couldn't stop reading! Mollie is like no character I have ever 'met' before. She is loyal, Stubborn and determined to do whatever it takes to keep her father's company afloat, even through the Great Chicago Fire. When she discovers two shocking secrets, one kept by the lawyer for three years and the other from her fathers trunk. she is at a loss. Where will she go from here? Who should she trust?

Angels In The Fire

Angels In The Fire is about dann and tracey stadler, who where hit by a drunk driver in a head on 70 mile an hour collision. Trapping them both in their burning car. Bystanders were able to get dann out, but tracey was trapped under everything from the bumper in. Rescures kept trying but they feared the car would explode. Moments later a lone figure walked out of the nearby woods and saved her from certain death, then dissapeared. But the dissapearance of this stranger was not the end of God's work in their lives. As they struggled through the grueling recoveries and setbacks, the miracles and divine encounters continued. All in all I found this book to be very interesting in certain parts but rather boring in others. What I mean is every time I read a book in this genre it's really interesting in the first few chapters but I get bored towards the end. but this book was a lot better in that area than some others I have read, I actually enjoyed this one. And this book has a really good message and is very encouraging.
